 WESTON FUN DAY 2010 –  INVITATION TO STALLHOLDERS   In May 2009, Weston College near Mooi River, site of a remount depot during the Anglo-Boer War of 1899-1902, unveiled a memorial to horses and other animals fallen in battle. This was a solemn and moving event that was attended by representatives from various military units, the scouts, local horse riders and many others.  

This year’s event, taking place on April 24-25, will again celebrate those who fell in battle, men and beasts, with a fun weekend to which all are welcome. The annual Motorbike Enduro will also take place this weekend.  

Part of the weekend’s activities will be various stalls, offering a variety of high quality products. Cost of a stall will be R100.00 for the weekend, and stallholders will need to bring their own table(s) and chair(s), gazebo, umbrella etc. Anyone interested in having a stall for the weekend should email glawson@global.co.za or contact Gaynor on 033 267-7920 / 082 55 88 928 for details.
